BENEFITS
Aluminium scaffolding offers a combination of lightweight, strength, flexibility, and safety, making it an excellent choice for a wide range of construction and maintenance tasks.
- Lightweight: Aluminium is much lighter than other metals like steel. This make aluminium scaffolding easier to transport and move around, reducing the physical strain on workers and increasing efficiency in setting up and dismantling.
- Ease of Assembly and Disassembly: The lightweight nature of aluminium scaffolding, combined with its modular design, makes it easy to assemble, disassemble, and reconfigure.
- Cost-Effectiveness: It's durability and low maintenance requirements make it a cost-effective solution in the long run.
- Rust Resistance: Aluminium does not rust, making it ideal for use in all types of weather conditions. This is particularly beneficial in coastal areas or environments where the scaffold might be exposed to moisture.
- Safety: Aluminium scaffolds are generally considered safer than traditional scaffolding because they are more stable and less prone to wobbling or tipping. Their sturdy construction provides a secure platform for workers, reducing the risk of accidents. It has toe boards, mid-rails and guardrails at working deck levels and intermediate landing where necessary and internal ladder access to working deck levels via trapdoor platforms.
- Improved Productivity: The ease of handling and quick setup of aluminium scaffolding can lead to improved productivity on site, as workers can move more freely and safely, focusing on their tasks without worrying about the reliability of their work platform.
- Flexibility and Versatility: Aluminium scaffolding can be easily adjusted and configured to suit a wide range of applications, from simple residential repairs to complex commercial construction projects. Its modular design allows for quick assembly in various shapes and sizes.

And it’s compatible with the Oldfields Pro Series and 2600 series decks.
What size and height scaffold is right for you
It’s simple. When you order a mobile scaffold, we’ll ask you these questions:
What will your working height be?
This is the maximum height you need to reach.
What height are you?
This is called your standing height.
Frame Widths
The width of the platform depends on the amount of room available on site.
Our two most popular frame widths are 700mm and 1200mm (1.2m). With the 700mm width frame you’ll have a free standing height of 1.4m. With the 1.2m width frame you’ll have a free standing height of 3.6m.
Scaffold Lengths
Our scaffolds are made in 1.2m, 1.8m, 2.4m + 3.0 metre lengths.
Need a longer scaffold? Consider it done – because we can make almost any size for you, just ask.
Want To Reach Greater Heights?
Time for an outrigger! We can add an outrigger to increase the base size so you can go higher.
We can also add a truss base. This enables a mobile or static tower to reach a free-standing height of 9.0m.
